September 13, 2025Sep 13 Would it be possible for PSXT to use the parking data from the MSFS handcrafted airports archive with MSFS 2024? For example, TNCM and MKJS handcrafted airports had the correct parking positions in MSFS, but in MSFS 2024, due to encryption, PSXT is unable to access this data and the AI aircraft are misplaced with parking. As a workaround, I was wondering if PSXT could apply its MSFS archive data to MSFS 2024, since the handcrafted airports are essentially the same in both versions.

That's very well possible indeed. However, I do not have these (simaddon) airport for MSFS. Could you mail the airport files to me? You may find them in /PSXT/airports/my_simaddon after you have run an airports scan in MSFS 2020.
September 13, 2025Sep 13 Author I would send the airport files if they appeared in the PSXT\airports\my_simaddon folder. Unfortunately, they do not. In MSFS, these airport files are registered under the stock airport files. For example, the MSFS PSXT archive's stock airport files for TNCM and MKJS are for the Asobo handcrafted airports. September 13, 2025Sep 13 Author With MSFS, PSXT is correctly placing aircraft at the proper parking positions at handcrafted airports. These handcrafted airports are enabled by default (though they can be disabled via the Content Manager), but they do not appear in the Community folder. As a result, they also don’t show up in the /PSXT/airports/my_simaddon folder. PSXT is treating these handcrafted MSFS airports as stock airports and is incorporating their parking data into the PSXT stock airport XML files, https://www.lekseecon.nl/downloads/docs/msfs_archive.txt. Due to encryption introduced in MSFS 2024, PSXT is no longer able to access that data. It now relies solely on the parking data from non-handcrafted stock airports, which is leading to the incorrect aircraft placements. So essentially, if PSXT could be configured to continue using the existing msfs_archive stock airport files, which appear to include the handcrafted airport parking data, with MSFS 2024, this might provide a viable workaround. Seen your edited note after I posted the message above. I went ahead and installed MSFS back onto my machine, so I could get the handcrafted airport files into the PSXT\airports\my_simaddon folder.
