November 27, 200817 yr OKYup I had to do it a reinstall of Windows Vista. The whole format c process. First I collected what I thought was all the critical FSX stuff with all the other reinstall stuff. Then I ran the windows easy transfer to move all the docs and other stuff. I was also careful to copy the Users(your name)AppdataRoamingMicrosoftFSX file as well. After the clean install of windows and other critical programs I ran the easy transfer wizard software again I only run the transfer on the C:drive stuff other wise it gets too large. Then I reinstalled FSX all of it.And voila NO Logbook nothing nada!No saved flightplans eitherThen I ran the files and transfer wizard again. Bingo everything was back where it should be.So in the future Install FSX completely before running the file transfer wizard. FSX install wipes the docs and picture files. Snowfalcon13 KRTS Reno, NV.
