June 14, 200223 yr Hi folks!I'm just about back after a long hiatus from aircraft modeling. I thought I'd share some new screenshots of the totally scratch rebuilt Boeing 747-400 (probably will be designated the VIII) with you guys...One of the new features to be implemented are the animated flexing wings and the usual FS2002 style eyecandy.http://www.meljet.com/images/744V3-01.jpghttp://www.meljet.com/images/744V3-02.jpghttp://www.meljet.com/images/744V3-03.jpgThe following screenshot compares the un-flexed and flexed wing...http://www.meljet.com/images/744V3-04.jpgWhat do you think?:) Melvin Rafi
June 14, 200223 yr Melvin your back! I used to be a member of your forum since August 16, 2000, but I see your page is down. Great to see you're redoing the 744..btw is that gmax? how's the 777 going I haven't seen it in a while.
June 15, 200223 yr Hi Melvin,Looks superb as do all your projects. I am looking forward to the Triple 7. Keep up the good work. BTW, what's up with your site ? No menu to chose from.Greetz,Udo.
June 16, 200223 yr Thanks for all the comments. Yup, it's a GMax, fully FS2002 model. My site should be fully back online in a short while.:) Melvin Rafiwww.meljet.com
June 16, 200223 yr Ho Hum .. just another one of Melvin's excellent models .. :) Can't you do a really lousy model for a change? Heck, if you tried to do a lousy model on purpose, it'd still be better than many folks' "best".Don't forget the working LD valves!
June 19, 200223 yr Thehehe you really said ANIMATED flex wings???Great model dude!!! :-hahRegards :-wave from EDDFhttp://flightsimmers.net/airport/etti/signature_pro.jpg
June 20, 200223 yr hehe...I could try doing a lousy model, but it would look really lousy. By the way, what are "LD valves"?Oh, and yes, I did say animated flexing wings. The wings will smoothly flex upwards or downwards, not pop from position to position.:) Melvin Rafi
