Aircraft type, failures

Featured Replies

Hello, how can I access datas like the current aircraft types and how can I proceed failuers? There are no Tokens or Events for that. Do you know how to access them without FSUIPC?This data is included in ADVENTURES, maybe you can access this data also via gauges?Thank you.Greetings,Marcel Burr

Marcel,The following based on .XML type gauges. There are many failures some can be retrieved via an A:variable, A:partial panel xxxx and (A:General eng1 failed, bool) are an example. Some can only be retrieved via tags and thier special syntax. ex:Barron Left Oil Condition.XML The result of an engine failure is 0 (Zero)To see all the available failures of this type take a look at gauges.xdr in the panel sdk/inc. You can open it with notepad. There also a couple that MS forgot to put in the gauges.xdr but they are located in the stock xml gauges (( Forgot which ones, did'nt note them :-( )) To make a failure look for K: variables in the SDK/doc/Event IDS or in Arne's download K:Variables. An example of one would be (>K:TOGGLE_ENGINE4_FAILURE),, not many,, but you can some things happen. Hope this helps, Roman(KGRB)
