  1. Most likely missed the effect files (*.fx) and any associated texture files for them.. ( ...\effects\texture )
  2. Henrik & team, Just echoing everyone else's comments. Thank-You so much for this "must have" addition for flight sim. Wonderful work!
  3. Test point 34.... hehe Development page Direct download of TEST 1.4.34
  4. In Football Deial

  5. Also make sure you're not starting from a saved flight where the previous aircraft was not "advanced". The stock FS AP may be on by default trying to trim away.
  6. Nick is 100% correct. Any FS9 traffic bgl will ruin traffic in FSX. AI Flight planner can easily fix this for you. "Bulk Traffic" menu, "Convert FS9 Traffic Files to FSX"
  7. Nick. Thanks so much! Will "pre" -prepare #2. For those that have "RTW Race Team" under their avatar, I will be looking forward to your Duenna reports. Ha! - May you have excellent flights gents. Edit - Nick, may you smoke them "kitty kats" . Cmon really?
  8. It's an extreme bummer but I will not be able to make it until the #2 flight. The last hurrah of flying/eaa/fly ins etc.. before snowmobile trails open - HA! Anyway I created another sheet , same place, just a new sheet. Maybe it will help other participants to pick an aircraft based on what others may fly. It could even become "theme" based, who knows. It's just there to show your proposed steed, that's all. It doesn't replace the main sheet for the actual event.
  9. Stew, Never mind those fellas LOL! Many times when an aircraft, prior to the one being used now, is shut down, the fuel valves (IE mixture) are off (full lean). Try this - once spooled up try "CTRL+SHIFT+4" (full rich, fuel on) Hope it does it for ya. Roman
  10. It was good that my friend's "End of Summer Fly-In & Picinic" at 9WS2 was rescheduled to the following day due to weather. If it wasn't rescheduled I would've missed one of the most enjoyable flights ever! THANKS Josh! Jeff bringin in Legacy November 508 Delta Bravo @ Gunnison - Crested Butte Regional (KGUC) At KGUC, Josh shows his legs (the thought!) and comes in nicely providing mosquito repellent as an added plus. Bry, Jeff, Josh & myself getting ready for departure, heading for "The GAUNTLET". ~35 nm of "twisty - turny" canyon running! Sore hands afterwards required a break at North Fork Valley Airport. (7V2) Jeff said it well - "The hand print is now permanently embedded into the controller" (White Knuckles) Ron touching down, dead center, at 7V2. Nice! Mike at 7V2 in Lancair November 10 Zulu Romeo, just a little rebound is all. Libation time, physical therapy etc.. at 7V2. (clockwise from forehand) Ron in the Lancair IV-P; Nick, Jeff, Bry & Mike in Legacy's; Gunter in a IV-P followed by Josh in the Trinidad & myself in the T-28C. (Nice group!) Ready to go after the break. Rolf joins us in a "phantom" Baron, yay! The more the merrier! No n number & white. There he is... Following HWY 82 as we head to Glenwood Springs Municipal Airport (KGWS). Bry touching down at Garfield County Regional (KRIL). Nice! Not a puff of smoke. Mike adjusting her just a bit on approach. Another nice one! Rolf touching down as Mike pulls off at the far end. This is a nice.... And busy! airport! There's more on the way. Nick following Gunter's bum on the way in. I believe Gunter went around and this time..... Just barely clearing Ron! Just no room at this place! Josh coming in a little fast doing a "taxiway approach". He made it with plenty of room to spare. Rolf dropped out of MP then came back for another approach coming over the top of Ron as he readies for Grand Junction Regional (KGJT) Mike in the ground effect at KGJT. Bry just inches from "dead center". Looks like a couple more on approach. Jeff, inches from touchdown. The intention of this video was to show the intense lightning that was occurring. Of course it stops as I hit the record button. This is the last leg heading to Cortez Municipal (KCEZ). Formation Flying with Gunter as lead. Made it! Thanks again Josh! It was AWESOME! :Applause:

  12. Ron - Does anyone have all the title=names for the new Trinidad? Would like to alias Josh to a freeware. Don't care exactly which one he's using. I'll make aliases for dem all!
  13. Been a long time since in the cockpit of the MD, must get back - IIRC for the vspeeds make sure you use a cost index max 100. Different than Boeing's, where max is 200.
  14. IIRC there is no way to set the "amount value" of the stock INC/DEC - for any command. If A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:1 POSITION, number returns raw values then the following could be used. If not, get the values returned from A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:1 POSITION, percent and adjust the rng values to suit. INC - <Click> <!-- From 0 --> 0 200 (A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:1 POSITION, number) rng if{ 2048 (>K:COWLFLAP1_SET) } <!-- From 2048 --> 1848 2248 (A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:1 POSITION, number) rng if{ 4096 (>K:COWLFLAP1_SET) } <!-- From 4096 --> 3896 4296 (A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:1 POSITION, number) rng if{ 6144 (>K:COWLFLAP1_SET) } <!-- ETC... --> </Click> DEC - <Click> <!-- From 2048 --> 1848 2248 (A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:1 POSITION, number) rng if{ 0 (>K:COWLFLAP1_SET) } <!-- From 4096 --> 3896 4296 (A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:1 POSITION, number) rng if{ 2048 (>K:COWLFLAP1_SET) } <!-- From 6144 --> 5944 6344 (A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:1 POSITION, number) rng if{ 4096 (>K:COWLFLAP1_SET) } <!-- ETC... --> </Click> Not tested at all, and not completely sure if the rng command works inside a <Click>. Worth a try. The rng is used to assure that a command will be caught.
  15. Cowl flaps can be "set" using the following commands - (>K:COWLFLAP1_SET) (>K:COWLFLAP2_SET) (>K:COWLFLAP3_SET) (>K:COWLFLAP4_SET) It's been a while, but most likely the range is 0-16384 therefore for a 12% inc/dec is around 1365 per. The read variables are - (A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:1 POSITION, percent) (A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:2 POSITION, percent) (A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:3 POSITION, percent) (A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP:4 POSITION, percent) It will be getting a little more complicated from there. Logging via FSUIPC might give you the actual raw (0-16384) numbers returned from the VC. You can then do calculations to get them to match.
  16. Looks like I will be able to make it - The end of summer annual fly-in & picnic @ 9WS2 has been changed to Sunday. Bad WX forecasted for Saturday, making it perfect for an AVSIM Saturday afternoon/evening soiree. NOTAM - Only if wanted. If you are NOT flying a Legacy and would like to see the others' windmills turning, give this package a try. It does no harm. SkyVector for your map "fold'n" needs.
  17. Not too many pics during last weeks run. Was too afraid to hit the shutter button, or, for that matter, "ANY" button, on anything. The sim/computer did not behave at all! One of the worst sessions ever. It prompted a marathon 35 hour programming session to make a utility, once mentioned in the past, that I and maybe others, desperately need due to a low/mid powered system and not able to handle a crowded MP session. An initial preview is on the MP spreadsheet. Mike touching down at Front Royal - Warren Co. (KFRR) with Jeff in close tow. Most of the group back taxiing at Potomac - Berkely Springs (W35). Either Bert or Gunter is rolling out. Hard to see, but notice that radio tower at the far end, just off the runway. Nice place to put it! It just may be a little closer than depicted in real life.. HMM. https://skyvector.com/files/tpp/1609/pdf/05997G29.PDF "The" crew at the MAAM, Reading (KRDG). Myself in the RV, Stew in the Navajo; Jeff, Mike, Ron, Gunter & Bert in Shrike Commanders. Oh sooo purdy. Back taxiing at KRDG for a One-Three departure. We stayed a little too long at the museum! LOL - We changed the time for some, so called , eye candy. Nice flight regardless! Thanks for the setup Jeff!
  18. This should do it for you. [ParticleAttributes.X] Color Start=255, 255, 255, 255 // IN RGBA Color End=248, 242, 214, 255 Change the colors to "less" white keeping the RGB ratio. IE @50% Color End=248, 242, 214, 255 becomes - Color End=124, 121, 107, 255 The start color is the color at the beginning of the particle's lifetime, end color at the end.
  19. Some photos from last weekend's excellent flight. Most of the group getting ready at Knoxville Downtown Island (KDKX). From right to left then aft. In Comanche's - Jeff, Mike & Josh; Ron in his beautiful B55, myself in the BT RV-7, Gunter in the C172, (aft) Bert in a Seminole then Rolf in a B58 (changed later to a RV-7). Rallied up at Jackson County (24A), Stew joins us in the PA23 Aztec. Ron touching down at Mountain Empire (KMKJ). Rolf catching a gust just prior to touchdown at Greenbrier Valley (KWLB). Thunder and lightning with spurts of rain nearly half the way. Jeff just inches from touching Mother Earth @ Greenbrier Valley. Josh at Greenbrier blowing up some mist. Unknown who this is, I believe Bryan. There were a few dropouts in MP and upon return the aliases didn't jive. We'll call it a mystery man in a mystery aircraft - No N-number. (KWLB) Gunter gently touching down without any spray! SMOOOTH. Taken (2) near Hot Springs Ingalls Field (KHSP) in the George Washington National Forest. The middle portion of the flight was filled an abundance of lightning, rain & gusty winds. Decided to record a 1 minute video showing the frequency of the lightning. Intense! Getting closer to sundown brought a calmer atmosphere. A beautiful, pink, predusk shot taken south of the town of Goshen, VA and Lake Merriweather, just over the Maury River. A busy Charlottesville-Albemarle airport (KCHO) as the sun sets. The home of our founder Tom Allensworth, may you rest in peace.
  20. Nick, Hope you have a fine vacation. - camping isn't it? - We'll want a full write up including any addendums to Mike's excellent pilot guide. LOL Stew, I give it up as a newly opened waterpark ( ouch ) boogie board recreational area.. CYA Saturday. (after 9WS2)
  21. SkyVector output for your map fold'n needs.
  22. A few shots from this last Saturday with our group.
