June 26, 200223 yr i'm working on a retractable landing gear aircraft with fsds and aircraft animator. the only problem is when i retract the landing gear it goes up into the wing and the wheel and gear bleed thru the top of the wing (remain visible). is there a way to make them disappear after they've been retracted?any help appreciated
June 26, 200223 yr There is a tag for l/r/c_wheelwell which when at the top of the gear heirarchy, will tell FS not to render the gear when retracted inside that wheelwell. This works when used in gmax and should work from AA.Milton
June 26, 200223 yr Author In Aircraft animator there is a tag to use in the animation sequence, if I remeber correctly the end movement should = 0 to have the object disappear.Regards,RomanProject 737-400 FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
June 27, 200223 yr Actually you'll want to use "1", not "0".Example, 0-100:+1 will allow the part to remain visable throughout the entire sequence, start and finish. 1-100:+1 will allow the part to remain visable only during the movement sequence and the start, finished will be invisable. 1-99:+1 will make the part visable only during the movement sequence, invisable at start and finish.Gjunk hierarchy and special part names don't work with Aircraft Animator.Hope this helps. :-)Dee WaldronHistoric Jetliners Group
