I need your help again.

I use Flight Simulator Prepar 3D v5.3, which works without any problems.

I purchased the weather tool ‘ENVSHADE’ Link: https://www.togaprojects.com/envshade. I bought all 4 modules. I was able to successfully complete the purchase, download, installation and activation. Unfortunately, there is a small problem with this weather tool, which I will explain to you in detail.

I opened the ‘ENVTEX’ module. After starting it, you see the SKY window. In these 6 windows, you can install different weather scenarios, daytime sky, dawn and dusk, etc. The ‘Dynamic Sky Day’ window has a black ‘Random’ button at the top: You should be able to open this button so that you can install the different weather scenarios. The problem is that I cannot open this black button. I have this problem throughout the entire ‘ENVETEX’ module.

Now I would like to ask you why I cannot open this black list. What is the exact reason? Do I perhaps need to install the weather tool ‘Aktiv Sky’ so that I can then open this black list?

If you also use this weather tool and it works without any problems for you, I would be very grateful if you could tell me how to solve this problem, because otherwise I cannot use this tool.

First of all thank you for your purchase 🙂

About your issue, did you make sure you have selected ON the "Sky - 24h" in the option window?

Also, if you use ASCA together with Envtex and uses the "Sky - custom" feature instead, you can't enable the 24 hours option as our sky textures are injected into ASCA, which then manages which ones to inject in the simulator depending on the weather conditions.

Thank you very much for the tip, I turned on the ‘SKY 24h’ switch and it worked. I can now select different sky sets from the Sky group.

However, I have another problem. I installed a different sunset set to test it and see if it works in P3D. Unfortunately, I found that it didn't work. I did the same tests with the cloud sets, sun sets and sky sets, but these are not displayed in P3D either. I installed different cumulus clouds in ‘ENVTEX’ I installed set 2.

I must also tell you that I do not use the tools ‘Aktiv Sky’ and ‘Sky Force 3D’; I only work with ‘ENVSHADE’.

Because I use P3D V5.3, I would like to ask you whether ENVSHADE is compatible with this P3D version at all.

Question: Do I need to install the Aktiv Sky tool for ENVSHADE to work at all?

I would like to ask you what I need to do to make ‘ENVSHADE’ work with P3D without encountering the problems described above.
