December 24, 2025Dec 24 This evening I decided to fire up the FSS E175 after a fairly long pause of using it. I decided to really dig in and figure this plane out and decided that I should be able to adjust my payload and fuel quantity in the EFB. Problem is for whatever reason its not letting me or do or I even see an option to do so. In the FAQ on the FSS website it states below. How can I add weight & fuel? Navigate to the preflight page in the EFB. You can either import a flightplan from SimBrief which automatically presets the calculated weights or enter your own weights. At the bottom on the page click on start loading to actually apply the weights to the aircraft. Please don't use the ingame weight menu as it will interfer with our custom logic. So apparently I am not supposed to use the ingame method or it will mess up its custom logic even though I have been doing it this way without issue. I don't even have a preflight page in the EFB. On one of the menu's I see payload and fuel load but no way to click on it or adjust it. You can apparently import from SimBrief and I see that option but I don't currently use SimBrief. Kind at a loss here and must be something simple but I just don't see it. Its the latest build (0.9.34) offered by FSS with the exception of the experimental build just released. I have not installed that one.
December 26, 2025Dec 26 Hi! I figured this out today. You have to import your flight sim on simbrief, and on the FLT Details page there should be a grey X and a orange check mark. Click the orange checkmark, and after that the depature page will open. Thats how you do it.
December 26, 2025Dec 26 Author I figured out another way that is a bit flaky and overly complex just last night. You go into the EFB and click on FLT DETAILS on the bottom. A box will pop up and you have to fill it in completely and it has to be a bit accurate. The check mark inside a circle will turn yellow and you click on it. The flight plan will now show on the top of the EFB. Another check mark inside a circle in yellow. Click on that and the DEPARTURES tab on the bottom will no longer be grayed out. Click on it and in the middle you can now key in payload and fuel (hopefully)! I have found it to be a bit flaky. Sometimes it won't let you put in more than a small amount of payload and occasionally it won't let you put any fuel in it. Other times it works fine and I think maybe the livery selected has something to do with it. Also don't forget to push the LOAD button in the EFB. Seems overly complicated. I should just be able to go to a payload tab and adjust fuel and payload and be done with it like most other models.
