I'm desperately trying to set up AAO. Here's the problem:

"Assigned Axis" works, but with a significant delay.

"Assigned Button" does not work until the end.
"Add new Button" works. "Key down Event" is also okay. The window opens. All further actions are extremely delayed. Mouse functionality is barely possible. Selecting functions for the key isn't possible. Closing the window isn't possible either.

I suspect a hardware problem. But where?

When the app has started, before doing anything else, go to "Hardware->Device Blacklist". Move everything (including all mice and keyboards) into the list on the right using the "Ignore" Button that isn't a game controller that you want to use in AAO. Restart AAO after that.
