January 19Jan 19 Evening I am having problems reading Lvars from the sim. HVars and Bvars - no issue LVars will only work the first time I log onto MSFS 2024 and Axis and Ohs After that unless I restart the sim it cannot read the lvars, continually states Collection failed. Running 4.56 b19 in admin mode. I tried downloading the lorbysi-content-hooks and placing it in the community folder albeit when the sim was running.... any help really appreciated... DC

But this package should have been installed with the new version anyway. 9 hours ago, DavyC100 said: LVars will only work the first time I log onto MSFS 2024 and Axis and Ohs Then there is no problem with the community package. But - as long as it is reading them once, isn't that enough? You only need that info for assignments, not constantly all the time? You could also get them from the MSFS developer mode, Tools->Behaviors->Variables. "Global" are the normal LVars, "Local" are indexed ones [(L:1:name), those are not used very often] That list even includes the current values of the LVars. 9 hours ago, DavyC100 said: After that unless I restart the sim it cannot read the lvars, continually states Collection failed. Sorry, no idea what would be causing that. Has it always been this way or did this start when you installed a particular new aircraft? Is it with all aircraft or a specific one? Do you have a lot of aircraft installed in the sim? Also, maybe check out the AAO log files, if an error is listed that belongs to this Collection failure. LORBY-SI
January 20Jan 20 Author Thanks Lorby I did not realise that once collected they remain, I assume that this includes when aao is closed and restarts. I found a lvarsscan csv file which is dated and timed at the last scan, so I assume that this will be drawb by aao. I do have a lot of aircraft, and whilst new to aao I am trying to configure them and fly at the same time (not a good idea), once settled down it should be more straight forward... Once again thanks for your help.....
