The Czech Republic - Part III and more

Featured Replies

It's time to wrap up our flights in the Czech Republic.

We depart from Brno (LKTB), the country's second-largest city. We head north and follow the small river Svratka before turning west. Our first POI is the Pilgrimage Church of St. John of Nepomuk atop Zelená Hora, an outstanding example of Baroque Gothic style. After landing in Jihlava (LKJI), a town on the Bohemian-Moravian border, and the stops in Jindřichův Hradec (LKJH) and Hosin (LKHS), we approach the next major POI: Hluboká Chateau (Frauenberg).

This Neo-Gothic fairy-tale castle is one of the most visited in the Czech Republic. We continue west to reach Strunkovice (LKSR). Here we turn southwest and cross the border into Germany.

We land at Sonnen (EDPS) and leave Germany again. We arrive at Scharding (LOLS) in Austria.

After a quick stop at Kirchheim (LOLK), we head for Salzburg (LOWS) and finish this flight there.

The flight is 220 miles long with 7 landings. The flight plans are here.

Any GA airplane is suitable. I will be in the A2A Comanche. Please fly what you like.
