trailing edge?

Featured Replies

Hi,Is it possible to use numbers instead of percent like below? Value Minimum="0" Maximum="5">(A:Trailing edge flaps0 left index, number)BrgdsEugen

Roman,I can't get this one to work?? I need to specify a range otherwise the bitmap will disappear....((A:TRAILING EDGE FLAPS0 LEFT ANGLE, degrees) near s1 0 >= l1 6 <= &= 80"/>BrgdsEugen

Hi,Cant several visible elements be used like below? cant get it work the gauge get stucks to flap4green.bmpRegardsEugen(A:TRAILING EDGE FLAPS0 LEFT ANGLE, degrees) int 0 ==(A:TRAILING EDGE FLAPS0 LEFT ANGLE, degrees) int s1 7 >= l1 13 <= &=(A:TRAILING EDGE FLAPS0 LEFT ANGLE, degrees) int s1 14 >= l1 20 <= &=(A:TRAILING EDGE FLAPS0 LEFT ANGLE, degrees) int s1 21 >= l1 27 <= &=(A:TRAILING EDGE FLAPS0 LEFT ANGLE, degrees) int s1 28 >= l1 34 <= &=(A:TRAILING EDGE FLAPS0 LEFT ANGLE, degrees) int 35 ==%((A:TRAILING EDGE FLAPS0 LEFT ANGLE, degrees) near)%!3.0f!

Anyone who knows the answer about using several visible elements if it is workable?BrgdsEugen

In principle you can use several elements like you did, even if the more common method might be to use <Select>...<Case> construction. Anyway if hte problem is that the flap gauge never shows the "full extension" bitmap, try "near" instead of "int". "int" only cuts away the decimals wheras "near" does a proper rounding to the nearest integer.Arne Bartels

Hi,I have tried with near but it does'nt work either, I have done one with case but I would like to have a another bitmap showing the selected position of the flap i.e A:Flaps handle until the flaps has reached its posistion ie visible until trailing edge reached its value. The the flap position should then not be visible anymore.That s what I try to accomplish :-)BrgdsEugen

Do you have checked the range of (A:TRAILING EDGE FLAPS0 LEFT ANGLE, degrees) for your particular aircraft? Does it reach 35 degrees? Otherwise some modification in the aircraft.cfg might help.Arne Bartels

Hi Arne,Something was wrong with code I rewrote everything from scratch and then it worked. I tested it with Internet explorer but I did'nt got any errors? Strange. Maybe a space in wrong place or something ??Many thanks for your help and suppportBrgdsEugen

Argh I am struggling why doesn't this work?(A:Flaps handle index,number) 0 == (A:TRAILING EDGE FLAPS0 LEFT ANGLE, degrees) 0 ! &&(A:Flaps handle index,number) near 1 == (A:TRAILING EDGE FLAPS0 LEFT ANGLE, degrees) near 7 ! &&%(A:Flaps handle index, number) %!d!The string just blinks for a split second 1 and it goes back to the 0 value???However this string works ...... %( 30 25 20 10 5 1 (A:Flaps handle index, number) case)%!d!What I want to accomplish is to not show the bitmap when the trailing edge has reached its value....Any help would be very appreciated :-)Eugen very frustrated :-(
