October 8, 200223 yr Last night I saw a 767 take-off in a TV show about ATC controllers at La Guardia. (much respect to you ATC guys!!!) The plane had to take-off in fog and moist condition. Therefore a absolutely magnificent rotating wingtip vortex was visible. I know there are vortex files for use at FS planes but they do not rotate. Now I had an idea: isn't it possible to make an INVISIBLE engine outlet in Gmax at the wingtips that rotates all the time. Now add a vortex file to it et voila: rotating wingtip vortexes (vortexi..??? ;-) )I'm no designer at all so I do not know if it is possible but it sure looks like a fine gimmick to me? So please my beloved designers, can anyone out there tell me if it is possible?Regards,Lennart, the Netherlands
October 8, 200223 yr Actually there is a Rotation entry available for an effect that does work.. Very hard to tune though.. ( can become a jerky rotation )Regards,Roman[link:www.packers.com]GREEN BAY PACKERS][/i :-ukliam :-beerchug FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
October 8, 200223 yr Lennart, look for tdcon.zip by Frank Maetzler. It is not exactly what you want, but it gives some kind of whirling effect by using different bitmaps. Maybe you can tweak it a bit more...Claudius
