Before I travel down the road to where I need to assign every button and axis in the game for WinCtrl stuff ( I have them all ) - curious if anyone has an easier way to get the job done?

Well, the absolute easiest way is to just use Winctrl's SimAppPro which maps pretty much everything for you out of the box (for supported aircraft models).

On the other hand, if you're willing to spend some money, I can highly recommend SPAD.next. Support for just about all of the Winctrl devices is in place and you can usually find "snippets" that others have already created and shared for various aircraft models.

I don’t own the Toliss yet—if I did, would their app just work automatically?

Just use this plugin, no need for external app and it works in every OS.
