Pause at TOD not working

Featured Replies

Good morning.

I'm sure this is a problem on my end and I must be doing something wrong or have a wrong setting somewhere but I'm having trouble figuring out what might be set wrong.

I'm unable to get the Pause at TOD to work on the inibuilds A340, PMDG 737-800, etc.   I choose the option either on the EFB or the FMC options page but the plane keeps flying upon reaching the TOD and the sim does not pause.

I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

Thank you.

Eric

I'll try to help since we have almost the same first name. 😎

It does seem odd that you have this with more than one bird so I agree maybe the problem is procedural...

How are your flight plans being developed, e.g. via Simbrief or what, and is TOD clearly indicated?

Is TOD showing on the MFD flight plan view as you approach it?  In the PMDG 737 you should get that cool green semicircle.

Is there any possibility you are not at full correct cruise altitude to begin with, fr'instance by not having STD barometric pressure (29.92 for those of us in the United States of Cheeseburger) set when above FL180?

Thanks Stoopy (Eric)

I use Simbrief to create my flightplans.  In the PMDG 737 the green semicircle (T/D) is shown and a downward crooked arrow in the Airbus indicated TOD but the planes just fly right past them until they run out of fuel.

I didn't know if I have to have certain keys or something mapped properly to my Pause settings in MSFS.  Not really sure how the Pause at TOD is triggered in the aircraft.  (I know you select the option for it, but behind the scenes, I'm not sure how it is programmed to trigger).

Regards,

Eric
