I want to have keyboard shortcuts in my gauges. To do this, I had a look at the DirectX SDK, in the DirectInput section. It looks quite complex to me because I am not an expert in Windows programming, so a little help would be really helpful.If someone has a little piece of code showing how a gauge can capture a keypress, it would definitely help.Thanks in advance !!Eric

Hmmm maybe it's a darn stupid idea but would it be possible to use something like getch() in the code? Would just work with characters, though (at least I think)... :-roll

I tried that already, it doesn't work. There is however an example for keyboard access via DirectX in the DrectX SDK, which can be adapted to be used in a gauge.Arne Bartels
