April 2Apr 2 I recently watched a video on YouTube about Lock vs Legacy cockpit interaction mode. It seemed to me that Legacy mode would be better for me, so I switched the mode. However, I am finding that certain things I saw in the video aren't working for me. Here is an example: The Range knob on the G1000. I don't have any problem using mouse scroll wheel to turn the knob clockwise and counterclockwise. However, I cannot figure out how to move the knob in different directions to move the cursor on the map around. In Lock mode I don't have a problem. The video I watched was for MSFS 2020 but I didn't think it would be different for 2024. That video showed that when you move the cursor around you would not only get the rounbd arrow for turning a knob but that if the knob can be moved left or right, etc. or can be pushed or pulled, you would see arrows for that as well. Can someone give me some guidance as to how the Legacy mode works for things other than just turning a knob? I can't flip switches or move things left, right, up, and down. Thanks.
