December 3, 200223 yr Hi, How do I add visible taxi lighting to an aircraft? I'm using an aircraft model which has a functioning taxi light switch, but no lights. Taxiing around airports is difficult in complete darkness and the landing lights are too bright, seen from the cockpit. It does not seem realistic either to taxi around with all candles lit.I'd like to add dimmer lighting, similar to ones I've seen on the default 747's or the new Dash 8 1.003. The exterior lighting is not that important, as long as I could see a cone of light from the pilot's seat. Thanks for any help-JET 1

The short answer is that you cannot do that, unless you have the original source file for the a/c. Even then, it must be either GMax created or FSDS2 (which is quite unlikely since that program has only been available for a couple of weeks!)... Sorry.

December 4, 200223 yr Another question: in some aircrafts the landing light is visible from the cabin, in others - not. Why ? I am FSDS2 designer, so I know that one must create a part called Light.Landing and this part will produce the landing lights effect (illuminated triangles). But in some projects this light isn't visible from the cabin. And never from the VC. Why ?Dimitri
