When I cut and paste(C&P)in PSP ver.7 and then want to go onto another command I can't do anything because the previous C&P is still active and won't release. I save the pic in PSP format and then come back to it to try and carry on but the C&P is still active. Is there a way to release it? Dan,I have the same difficulty and would like to know the answer. However, if you click the resize tool the cut and paste will be deactivated. Then you can move or resize it, or go to the menu and unselect it.John Woodward

From the top Toolbar choose Selection>Select None.You are now released and free to do what you want :-)Novastar

If i'm not mistaken, I think you can just hit Ctrl-D to release it too.Ray
