This addon aircraft has caught my eye over the last 6 months. It's a fictional aircraft and that in itself put me off for a long time. But the more I looked into it, on YT videos and on the creator's website, the more I respected the attention to detail and research undertaken by the dev. The flight model was engineered using NASA tools and standards.

So I picked it up tonight, for £15 from Just Flight and I am so impressed with this addon!

So what is it? It's a 2-seat twin IFR trainer - now there's a niche for you! It is outfitted with a high level of avionics and a full suite of anti-ice systems that render it suitable for flight into known icing. It uses 2 x Rotax 915is turbo-charged 141hp engines, which elevates the performance far beyond that of the Tecnam P2006 twin trainer, with it's two 100hp Rotax engines. It's definitely not an aircraft that you'd buy for it's looks! But it's been designed by the creator for ME IR training, with an 'extra' that's not seen in comparable twin trainers; it's a hard-core STOL aircraft. It can take off in 100m at 50kts and lands at 50kts with flaps 40 (landings at 60kts and 25 degrees of flaps are nicer!). It has a rugged, fixed undercarriage.

The textures and general quality level is high. Sounds are excellent (custom Wwise sound pack). It even has adjustable seats in the cockpit - the seats can be moved up, down, forward and back, and the seat-backs can be reclined. When was the last time we saw an aircraft in MSFS with fully adjustable seats? 😎

The highlight of the aircraft is it's flight handling characteristics. It's a dream to fly; responsive and light but not twitchy or over-sensitive. It has PMS and TDS GTN integration and IMHO these are a must as they extend the G3X set up to include VNAV and RNAV approaches.

The aircraft is 2020 native, so there are no interactables on the walkaround.

If you fancy something completely different, I'd really recommend this lovely little plane!
