PSXT Nav Lights parameter appears to not be working

Featured Replies

Hello.

I am not seeing any Nav Lights on parked aircraft with the PSXT Nav Lights parameter ticked on (this is version 15.5.0 but it was the same on the prior version). How can I fix this please?

Thanks!

I just checked with 15.5.0 and my lights are working fine. I don't know which models you are using, but did you follow these steps from the manual, if you are using AIG:

"2.4. Install AI aircraft packages

Recommended packages are AIG, FSLTL, JustFlight and IVAO_MTL (see the QuickStart Guide).

Important if you are using AIG in MSFS: The lights of AI aircraft are also controlled by MSFS which may conflict with PSXT, and is sometimes completely wrong. You may see taxiing aircraft with strobes on for instance. To fix this, go to

\Community\aig-aigtraffic-modelbehavior\ModelBehaviorDefs\AIG\Customization.xml and set in AIG_TC_PSXT_Check_Parameters, AIG_TC at False"

Thanks for that. Yes, I have completed those steps (and have AIG, FSLTL, JF and MTL installed). AIG_TC was set True, I have now changed that to False, but all parked and ground traffic are still dark. Good to know it should work though, but not here it seems.

The only thing I can think of with the AIG models is to delete the aitraffic-modelbehavior folder and re-run AIG. It should recreate the folder once you verify the setup.

If you look at the PSXT logs, were the AIG models even being used (before suggesting you alter your AIG setup)?

I changed the PSXT livery library list to individually test each collection. So, FSLTL on its own, then MTL on its own, JF on its own (which a fresh livery scan in-between) and that narrowed the problem down to AIG only. Then I did what you suggested, removed that folder, re-ran 'AIGTech - AI Manager' and did a Verify Setup (and all other updates it prompted for). Now working perfectly. Thanks, very much for the help, appreciated!
