Hello - I have a Stream Deck XL, and got the idea of using it for a few of my MSFS 2024 addons - mainly the Fenix A320 series - so I went on flightsim.to and found this script.

I went ahead and followed the included steps... Downloaded AAO, imported the script into AAO, and downloaded both the Stream Deck plugin and the Stream Deck profile. When I import the script, nothing seems to load on the "main page" of AAO - I assume this is normal? Just making sure I didn't do anything wrong here.

When loading up into the Fenix A320 in MSFS 2024 and hitting "SimConnect" the buttons on my Stream Deck do change appearance from a gray-ish appearance, to loaded icons... but when pressing said icons, nothing happens in the simulator. For example, when pressing EXT PWR nothing happens - the green AVAIL icon should be lighting up here too, and that is not.

I'm sure I am doing something wrong here, but would really like to get this working! If anyone has any help or assistance, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

In general, I would recommend contacting the author of that profile. When the buttons on the SD "light up" from their initial blank/grey state, then the connection to AAO has been established and there is no "technical" problem in play.

What if you do this in the cockpit with the mouse, does the indicator change on the StreamDeck?

No it does not.

I've been in communication with the original author through today - he forwarded me here.

All of them.

Sorry, but again - no idea. Everything looks fine in your video (apart from the buttons not working). The profile is working fine for me, using the same aircraft.

I would leave it at that if I were you. When it just doesn't want to work for you, there is no point in wasting time on this.

There is something wrong with the DEMO version. I will look into that, but at the moment I'm at a loss.

And AVSIM is getting on my nerves. I am getting timeouts all the time.

OK, I figured it out. For some reason, the DEMO version is packaging the wrong SimConnect version. I will make a new installer for the DEMO.

If it's working for you on the full version that may be the case. You had the exact same setup as I did, correct?

Ah, I gotchu. I figured that might've been the case when it was working for you.

I'll probably end up getting the full AAO version tonight in that case.

I've updated the installers for the DEMO on flightsim.to and the AAO website. They should work correctly now.

Make sure to try the DEMO again before you buy the app.
