August 25Aug 25 Commercial Member Hi,Registration shows I've been here since 2016, but actually my account goes way further back. I used to chat with Tom back in the day, RIP. I've been developing add-ons since FS9. VR basically killed flight simming for me, we needed a supercomputer to run it. Am currently running a very high-end rig with FS4, but it can be used in Aerofly FS4 and run extremely well in VR with an older rig. I use scenery add-ons to create high-res satellite textures; in VR, this is mind-blowing at 90FPS; it is liquid smooth. It was my desire to create a VR study level sim that is extremely smooth; this obviously can still be used on a flat screen. The default Aerofly A350 is very detailed, but not study sim level. I have spent the last year or so (8 years in total creating mods for FS4) and have completed an A350 that is more detailed (system-wise) than some of the high-end competitors. This will be completely free. I require only a few Beta testers, a mix of knowledgeable Airbus simmers and a few that are fairly new (so I can focus on creating a study guide/manual)The aircraft was built using the real-world FCOM/FCTM/MEL; I even used real-world tire data from Goodyear for the nitrogen gas simulation in the tires. That gives you a little idea of how deep this addon goes.A link to my website (WIP) https://a350advanced.prestit1978.workers.dev/. Feel free to PM me if you would like to join the testing team.I am not affiliated with Airbus or the IPACS team; however, I have many contacts in the aviation industry going back 20+ years, so I am able to obtain all the data required for a realistic simulation.Testing would A-B-A flights, comparing it to real-world behaviour, and smaller tests like RTO's, single-engine go-arounds, ECAM actions, abnormals, etc.The website doesn't include all the features, since it was built a few months back. I will update it before release.Edit - am happy to take on some non VR users if they are knowledgeable on Airbus systems.ThanksRob Edited August 25Aug 25 by FLEX1978 addid link and pic Rob Prest
