2026-09-20 The Channel Islands

Today we will transport some cargo and a couple of passengers to the Channel Islands.

We depart from Nantes (LFRS) and head straight north to land at Rennes (LFRN). Here we pick up some more passengers and head to Pleurtuit-St Malo (LFRD). On the way, we overfly the famous Mont Saint-Michel. Now we start our tour around the three Channel Islands and land at Jersey (EGJJ).

After clearing customs, we head to Guernsey (EGJB) and then to Alderney (EGJA). To finish the flight in a somewhat less expensive environment, we head back to France and land at Maupertus (LFRC). After departure, we fly to the Phare de Gatteville, a POI and a famous lighthouse, and then head to Caen (LFRK), today's destination.

The flight is 283 miles long and has 6 landings. We want to cruise at about 180 knots, so any GA plane or light transport will be suitable. I will be in the Carenado Do 228 in the German Navy livery. As always, please fly what you like.
