FSConnect Complete! - Looking for Beta Testers

Featured Replies

FSConnect is an addon module for FS2002 (and FS2004 when it becomes available) that allows third party programs to obtain data regarding the user aircraft in FS. It also has limited ability to "write" into the sim (currently only latitude and longitude). It also has some "snoop" functions that let you read from, write to, or search the flight simulator address space.I'm looking for beta testers : either developers or non-developers. For the non-developers, I've put together a little demo program that simply reads a few data elements from the sim and displays them in a window. You just have to verify the output is correct and let me know if things work ok or not. For developers, you can use the SDK I've provided (currently only available in VB6) to call the functions from within programs you've developed.I have no idea what kind of response I'll get, so in case there's a lot, I've got a few screening questions I'd like you to answer if you decide to contact me:1. What version of Windows do you have, and in what language?2. What country are you from?3. Do you anticipate working with the SDK, or are you just going to run the demo program?Interested parties can contact me at [email protected] to hear from you!Russ Dirks
