Vector gauges in FS9?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,I am not by any measure literate in the matters of gauge design hence my question might sound rather simple: I tried using the Fokker 50 panel created by Espen Oijordsbakken in FS9 with the unfortunate result that I could not make the EADI and EHSI show up. Everything else seems to work satisfactorily. The same phenomenon occurs when trying to import DF 734 in the new sim. I read in another thread that this could be due to the way that FS9 handles transparencies in textures and that the fix for this is relatively easy. I.e. the gauge per se is working. Perhaps one of you could certify that this is the case and describe in a few words the procedure to perform the necessary alterations (not that I would mind a volunteer doing them as well...)? Edit: FWIW, I think the same applies to PIC also(?).Thank you in advance,

I moved my GDI+ vector gauges from 2002 to 2004 without any problems

Reality XP True Display XP gauges (no GDI nor GDI+) work well too.It was posted that the DF734 needed a complete rework for FS2004. Could it be simply old vs new technology problem?

Thanks for the answers. Perhaps the common denominator in all the above add ons is not that they use vector gauges but something else? I find it interesting that out of all the gauges they use only their EADIs and EHSIs are disfunctional. Any other ideas? Thanks,
