October 17, 200322 yr I'm just getting started with gauge programming and would like to program something useful while I climb the learning curve.I'll write it and release it as freeware of course. Can someone recommend a type of gauge that people really need?I was thinking along the lines of moving map, GPS or FMC gauges but there are so many of them out there already, right?Something that is used in a popular aircraft.Or maybe a freeware replacement for a commercial gauge?I was thinking of possibly one of the Garmin panel mount gauges but don't know which one's are commonly used. The Garmin Apollo MX20 is not too complex (it's just a moving map display - no navigation features like VOR, ILS, etc)The GNS 530 is probably too complex.Ideas ... I need ideas!I'm sure you guys won't dissapoint me. :DPaul

October 18, 200322 yr Hi Paul,I personally would be very happy with a FUELDUMP.GAU for the Boeing 767-300.If possible with transparant bitmaps, only clickspots, where you can press to open the left and right valves and start emptying the center tank at a rate of about 1200 kg/min with center pumps on and 600 kg/min with center pumps off.See for more technical and visual details:http://www.smartcockpit.com/andhttp://www.meriweather.com/767/767_main.htmlRegards,Jan Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."

October 18, 200322 yr You may Consider the Monroy ATD 200 an option then:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...CatID=fs2002gaufor FS2002 only, and a FS2004 version should not be too long to appear!
