Is it possible to rename gauges withing a multiple-gauge file?

Featured Replies

If possible (and only if permissable), I'd like to use a gauge that is contained within a gauge file containing many individual gauges. The only reason I would like to do this is to make an engine gauge, which right now reads from both engines at once on a twin, into two separate gauges, one for each engine - by renaming, for example, Fuel_Flow to Fuel_Flow1 and Fuel_Flow2, to get separate reading from the different engines (assuming this would even work - I haven't tried it before). How do you get at the individual gauges, to rename them? Thanks,Mike F.

>How do you get at the individual gauges, to rename them? You cannot do that. The sub-gauges are contained within a compiled C .dll (.gau), and cannot be "renamed" unless you have the source file(s).Besides, even if you could, the internal logic and variables determine which engine the sub-gauge would report, not the name of the sub-gauge itself.
