Is it possible to take the 172 and 182 models and make it so we can paint both sides of the fuselage and tail? I know this has been done with the Dash-8 recently and thought these models are pretty good except for the textures. I would be willing to paint them both If I could put proper looking registration numbers on the fuselage sides. To do that the model needs to get split up into sides for the texture mapping. The Dash 8 GMAX source file (along with the MD83 and PA28) was made available in FS2002 as one of the sample aircraft in the GMAX folder. I believe that source file was used to stretch the Dash8-100 into a -200 model and re-map the textures. The source files for the Skyhawk and Skylane have never been released, and without them it isn't possible to change the texture mapping.
