Animation Question

I'm working on the stabilator for my Thorp T-18. It operates the same as that on the Piper Cherokee. The elevator is hinged to the main stabilator, and moves in the same direction. How can I do this in GMAX? I currently have an operating main stab using the stock tag. Here's a pic of the real thing...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/70850.jpgThanks,Robert

Robert,Set your pivot points on each part. Then animate both of them accordingly. Make sure they have the right names so FS can recognize them as animated parts. Then link the elevator to the stabilator. That should do it! I hope this is what you were looking for.If you need any more help, just let me know.... I would be more than happy to help you out!Kobie :-wave

Thanks KobieI set the elevator pivot at the hinge point, named the elevator r_elevator and linked it to the stabilator (named l_elevator). It works fine, and I didn't have to do any animation. Robert
