The XLS+ is getting close. I realize that really doesn't say anything, but as the guy staring at it almost every night for the last 3 years nobody wants it finished more than I do!

Early in this thread you whined about the fact that it was a closed beta, and as fast as you could get your hands on a link you took it upon yourself to make it an open beta which was obviously not what the owner of the code wanted. That said, I'm out.

I'll respectfully disagree with that. He knew exactly what he was doing based on how he is defending his actions.

Tell us some more about that password you got to start this whole debacle.

The XLS+ is getting the VC lighting done along with all the coding to get the VC model to play with the avionics. It's really looking good, and we hope when it's released you will feel it was worth the wait.

Regarding the status on the XLS+ the model is pretty much done. I am still tweaking a few bits in the VC, and coding of the switches and knobs is ongoing. I'm working on this as much as I can around working 60+ hours a week at work and dealing with all the other day-to-day stuff. As much as I would like to get this done it won't get out of the factory until it meets the standards we set for ourselves when I took on the project. Nothing will change that.

You have time. Reading across forums I have seen good and bad regarding upgrading. I'd monitor things for a bit before pulling that trigger. :unsure:

I'm afraid the key word here is "hoping".

Back then I had better cpu specs on my desktop than you have on your current laptop, and that was not close to being considered "high-end". It worked okay for me if I was realistic in my expectations and config settings.

Until you make a VC yourself I'd say you ought to be happy with anything you get.

Have you been to the Eaglesoft forums? There is some info there regarding Win8 that could help.
