  1. The important lesson learned here is that the SDK is not perfect. It has a lot of buggy stuff in it. Follow the instructions in that link I posted to the letter and you should be successful.
  2. It won't work no matter what if you don't install it properly. Which instructions are you referring to? That link has worked well for me on three different occaisions following re-installs.
  3. This link is to the best explanation I am aware of... http://www.fsdevelop...tallation_(FSX)
  4. Vacuums are common on boats. The yards have them, and the boat tends to have a shop vac or two onboard as well. I have personally seen them. I work for that shipyard. This is obviously a pretty big deal for us, and it has yet to be determined exactly what happened with that vac.
  5. I guess unless you have actually had to engineer how the knobs of that Whammodyne 5000 work in sim you won't understand. You've been down this road before and it didn't work then...
  6. Would it be possible for you to post some screen captures? I have an idea of what you are getting but it would help me to know for certain if I could see what you are seeing.
  7. No worries SIr. I appreciate the reply and clarification. It's hard to anticipate/know when the language barrier is in effect.
  8. Thanks for illustrating my point. First off, I am assuming you feel that my post was negative, which is totally wrong. For the sake of clarification I have seen negativity in multiple forums on multiple sites. I have not seen that here since this forum re-opened. Geez...Even a post that was totally positive has to get ripped by someone. I guess I was right in my gut feeling the other day that I am done in the forum world. Thanks for steering me in the right direction!
  9. Just when I was reaching a point where I was ready to give up on following more than one forum due to the amount of negativity that I have seen recently a post like this comes along.Thank you for sharing that. I envy you more than you will ever know.
  10. Does this thread even belong in the FSX forum? :(
  11. Carburetor icing up seems logical. That's remedied by applying some carburetor heat.
  12. You can't deny the fact that the freeware 3PD types were D.O.A.If it were not for that element of the hobby I highly doubt Flight would exist.
  13. Is Flight a totally new sim or is it just a free download that is not for the "serious" simmers? It's a new sim that is a free download. It remains to be seen if it is for "serious" simmers, although it is obvious that if you desire to be "serious" you will pay for the privlige. Is it the case that you can only fly within a certain area and not worldwide?Currently you will be flying the islands of Hawaii. Other areas will become available...for a price. If it is a completely new sim , will you be able to run all the exisiting add-ons like PMDG?Nothing you currently own is going to work.
  14. No sense wasting my time on this anymore based on that. You believe what you want to. I'm okay with that.
  15. Considering he was a member of Aces I'd say he's not as clueless as you think. He's already put out a few independant titles for FSX that are very well done. What have you created?
  16. The days of doing your own repaints are over with Flight, along with any other sort of mods you are used to being able to do at will.
  17. I just finished a little Pazmany PL-4 homebuilt, currently available at SOH and Flightsim. I'll probably put it up here soon. I'm also working on a P-61, but that one will be exclusive to SOH. There are others floating around on my computer as well...
  18. Buying add-ons is not in my budget, but I'll do my bit by working on my current FREEWARE project.I hope that counts. :(
  19. The cloud of dust that blew out of the back of my computer when I clicked on this was pretty impressive! :lol:The contact points are indeed the issue, but I can also attest to the fact that the "lag" behavior can exist in reality. On a taildragger that has springs in the linkage that is exactly how they behave.
  20. He's been doing it all along. If you don't see it I'm not gonna waste my time trying to dredge up all the evidence as it would be a waste of my time.
  21. Geez... you're not subtle when it comes to attacking MIlviz. It's getting stale.
  22. Respect is a two-way street. You get what you give. That's all I'm going to say.
  23. Seems like we already know the answer to that question based on his :( post.
  24. Lately pretty much all of the posts here have made me chuckle...
