May 2, 200422 yr Hallo, Busy to find out the proper code.I have this one, but it workes not proper i think. (A:VELOCITY BODY X, m/s) (A:VELOCITY BODY Y, m/s)Any idea's?Jan"Beatus Ille Procul Negotiis" Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
May 3, 200422 yr Author Commercial Member Jan,I prefer to use body velocity for beta, rather than the Incidence beta variable, but you can certainly try it and see if the resuslts are consistent. The thing to remember, is that a velocity vector IS your actual flight path, so try to calibrate it so that it's actually pointing to the right place (for instance a building on the ground). You may have to adjust your cockpit view angle down a few degrees to match the vector if you're using it in a HUD and it's being clipped. In my HUD, I have the velocity vector limited to an 8 degree radius. If it's greater than 8 degrees I have another piece of code which flashes the velocity vector.(A:Incidence Alpha:1,degrees(A:Velocity body X, m/s) (A:Velocity body Z, m/s) atg2 rddgJon Jon Blum Vertical Reality Simulations
