August 14, 200421 yr Hi,Easy to clip for rectangles withfor example. But is it possible to use clip for circles. Also, I sometimes see and RelClip. How are these used.Whats the difference between using this technique and mask bitmaps.Thanks,Nick.
August 15, 200421 yr Author Nick,Not sure what you mean, but anyway this works:80" Y="319"/> Outside this very element everything else is visible, so it works a bit like a mask.Jan"Beatus Ille Procul Negotiis" Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
August 15, 200421 yr Many thanks for the reply. What I mean is that using a clip command like I've given as an example gives a rectangular area where the element details are shown within this rectangle, and nothing shows outside. The same as using a mask image with colour 1,1,1.I was wondering if the clip command could be used for shapes other than rectangles and squares. Where I have a requirement for a circular mask, I still have to use a mask bitmap. A good example is in a PFD with the attitude ladder.I was also wondering what the command does which I have seen in default gauges. Also, I see RelClip as an available command in one of the dll's for use in XML coding and was wondering how it was used.Thanks,Nick.
August 16, 200421 yr Author Nick,Same problems with the circle mask as you. That's why:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=18825&page=Transparancy doesn't work either afaik. Also curious for your other questions.Jan"Beatus Ille Procul Negotiis" Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
