XML: how to pack/unpack a string into L:Vars ?

Hi,This was delt with before (in a post from Arne, but his attachment is not downloadable anymore), so I'll ask again..Since L:Vars cannot store string, just numerical values:What's the best way to "pack" / "unpack" a string of characters into a set of L:vars ??Thanks, Rob Barendregt
