zooming in VC

Featured Replies

Hi,while in VC I would like to zoom out say 0,75 for example) only the outside view, while keeping the normal 1:1 ratio on the cockpit view. If I am sitting in the cockpit and zoom out with "-" key, the whole contents of the screen zoom out. I would like to zoom only what is outside of the plane, and keep the cockpit "as is". Is it possible ?Can somebody advise how to do ? Thanks.

When in 2D panel mode, you zoom the 3D environment. When in VC you are already in the 3D environment. Thus they all zoom together. Of course I may be wrong. You can change the view point (look at the VIEWS section in the aircraft.cfg) to move your eye further away from the VC panel, much like sliding your seat back. Other than that, you need to rebuild the VC model for a better orientation and view.Shad
