Default Aircraft Textures

Featured Replies

Hi there,I'm a newbie on this forum with some painting kits and tutorials to start with. I've recently downloaded another one - GJSmith's painting tutorial to add texture on default B737-400 .bmp and software PSP 7.0 to edit it but have a problem with mirroring the name of airline on both (left and right) sides of the aircraft, as when I hit Ctrl+M (mirror) BOTH texts flip over when only the text on the right side of the fuse should do. Maybe someone knows how to fix this problem? Thanks.IMPORTANT: I would also like to ask if anyone knows where to get default (blank) quality texture files for default MSFS2004 Boeing models (737-400, 747-400, and 777-400)? Sometimes those (blank textures) i've downloaded earlier appear to be with poor resolution (or, maybe there is a problem with PSP format, who knows?) when i open .bmp files. The background appears black with "prototypes" of Boeing fuses, wings, and tails of a smashed mesh of green, red, and blue (see attached). What is the problem???THANK YOU VERY MUCH in advance.

Regards,

>The background appears black with "prototypes" of Boeing>fuses, wings, and tails of a smashed mesh of green, red, and>blue (see attached). What is the problem???>You need a small program called DXTBmp, I'm sure you'll find it here on Avsim. You need to open those files with it and resave them to a 24 bit BMP or TGA that you can then use in PSP :)
