I have read Robs post about trapping the ON KEY events with keyboard codes, such as (L:keytest, bool) ! (>L:keytest, bool) Which simply uses the spacebar as a switch.Does anyone know if it is also possible to trap joystick events, such as the hat switch ?Steve

Hi Steve,I'm almost sure you cannot, because it would required a lot of extra info in the gauge, like "button-x on which joystick ?"I hope you realise that you can do it indirectly (which the registered version of FSUIPC) by assigning a key to a button. At least, I assume that a keystroke generated by FSUIPC would have the same effect as typing it on the keyboard. But you have to try that out.Cheers, Rob
