KEY_ADD_FUEL_QUANTITY

Recommended Posts

How does one pass a value to this key_event? The SDK, as usual, is rathre short on details, saying only:"Adds fuel to the aircraft, 25% of capacity by default. 0

Hi Bill,As far as I know, FS2004 just ignores the value and justs adds 25% capacity to each defined tank for each event, untill full.So (not unusual) the SDK doesn't reflect the implementation in FS :-)Cheers, Rob Barendregt

from an earlier post:Well I tried negative numbers with no joy, so I tried adding asuffix to the K event like this: -50 (>K:ADD_FUEL_QUANTITY, percent) Seems that any suffix, percent, pounds, part etc makes thegauge add full fuel automatically. The above works for fullfuel.I even tried making the fuel tank quantity values negative inthe aircraft.cfg and hoping that the oldnegative+positive=negative might work...no luck, but it didgive some wild readings with Nick and Arnes fuel dump gauge!!!Steve

I was asking about the C variable, KEY_ADD_FUEL_QUANTITY, but it would appear that neither the C nor the XML key_events will accept an argument... ;(
