Taxispeed gauge.

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks.I would like to make a taxispeed gauge using one of the default rotary knobs. I have done the graphic on the knob and painted the numbers onto a clear area of my Dash panel. I have four positions painted on, 'OFF', '5', '10' and '15' speeds in knots.Could someone give me a guide as to what variables I would use? I cannot find one directly for taxispeed. Will I have to make a variable which operates the brakes at speeds above the one selected? Is there anything else I should be thinking about with this gauge? I am new to xml coding although I have downloaded Arne's tutorial. Also I am still flying with 02 as I like using the FSFlightMax module.Any and all ideas and tips appreciated. Thanks.Regards...Kenny
