July 5, 200817 yr HiMy Midtown Madness 2 game is malfunctioning. I start up the game, and within 2 minutes, literally, the game crashes, and I get a message saying the video driver failed. I have the new 175.19 drivers. Any ideas? July 6, 200817 yr Thanks for your reply,Which set would you recommend? The game crashed with 169.25s as well. Does this just mean the game is messed up on newer hardware? Thanks! July 7, 200817 yr If I remember correctly, my friend used to play Midtown Madness in the late '90s (and he really liked it ;-) ). When was version 2 released? Your system may just be too "new." Have you tried playing around with the Windows compatibility settings (although this never seems to do anything for me)?Zach
July 7, 200817 yr Yeah that's what I thought about the system being too new. This version 2 was released 2000. I put the compatibility setting to Windows XP, then 2000, and here it stayed stable for a couple days, then started crashing again. Strange. Thanks for the reply.
