Lit gauges in the VC using Pandasoft and MAX

Featured Replies

Hi All,I'm trying to make Pandasoft's exporter work with MAX. This is not my first airplane I'm kind of know what am I doing (sor of ;) ). However I can't make any of my gauges to light up at night using the "panel_L.bmp" technique by adding a lightmap to the Illumination slot of the material. Some says Panda doesn't work with light map, however I was able to make it work with no problem on the exterior/interior with the exception of the instruments. Anyone had success with this if so how?ThanksQantasluvr

Which version of Max? I ask because there are different ways to achieve this based on which version you are using.

I'm not sure why I'm bothering to reply, since you never answered the question I asked you four days ago...However, if you have Max5 or better, you need to use the DirectX Shader - Lightmap dialog at the very bottom of the Material Editor.Enter in the Diffuse Color (again) and then enter your lightmap... ;)http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/6789/ma...tmapping6bj.jpg
