Undock the Undockable?

Featured Replies

First of all, this is probably my last post due to my job being completed. Thank you much to both Patrick W. and Bill L. for their input. Is there a way to make an undockable window dockable? That is, to make it able to be moved onto another display. I have messed around with the Panel.cfg file, but have had no success thus far.Thank you all.

Hmmm... any WindowXX in the panel.cfg is by nature "undockable" and able to be moved to a second or third monitor, simply by right-clicking on the Window and choosing "Undock" from the list of options......in fact, I don't believe that there's a way to STOP a Window from being "undockable," except by making the gauge FILL the entire Window, and then "hijacking" the MOUSE_RIGHTCLICK event!

Thank you again for all. But when you right click on these windows for this particular model (source code unavailable), the undock option is not an option. Is this build (F-16) unique in this way? Is there a way around such "hijacking"?

In that case, no... it is probably not possible to get around that limitation.
