September 15, 200619 yr I have recently given up on XML as i hate polish notation. I was wondering how to compile gauges using visual studio .net 2003. I tried to run nmake but it doesn't work. Thanks,Steve
September 16, 200619 yr Download Dai Griffith's Dragonflight design tutorial for programming in C. You can get the latest version here at AVsim by searching for sd2gau18.zip. I have Version14 and this has a good section on how to setup rhe MS Development environment. You can find it here:http://www.surclaro.com/fs2002_c16.htmlVersion18 probably has all the info you need anyway, but I know 14 is good - so 18 will be awesome!!!!RegardsJim

I tried to run nmake but it doesn't work. There is an illustrated tutorial posted in the "Panels and Gauges" forum at http://flightsim.com specifically describing how to set up MSVC++ .NET 2003 to compile gauges."nmake" is a Command Line driven method that has ZERO use with MSVC++ IDE. September 17, 200619 yr Have you seen the new programming language XAML, pronounced zamel (like camel)? It may be possible to use XAML for gauge programming, not sure though. http://windowssdk.msdn.microsoft.com/en-us...y/ms752059.aspxTo see what XAML is capable of click "See it in action" here http://www.microsoft.com/products/expressi...er/default.aspx
