Adding new textures

Featured Replies

I have downloaded a few textures and in all of them it says to add files and data to the aircraft config. But in my FSX folder the aircraft config is a file with no path.. and when i ask to chose a program from web to run the config file its suggests some static IP program which is clearly wrong. How do access this config file so i can update it. Or am i dsoing everything wrong. Very grateful for any help.

In FSX use Windows Explorer and navigate to your aircraft's folder:..Sim ObjectsAirplanesmy airplaneThere should be a file named aircraft.cfg in that folder. This is the one you must edit! ;)
