Lawsuit Settled

I earlier used this forum to ask a question about weather related issues and the FAA. Several people answered with detailed answers.As a follow-up, I want to report that I just learned today from an ultra relieable source that the government settled with a "very substantial payment" to the three widows. The widows contended that the FAA mistakenly vectored my friend into categorized "weather". The government contended that weather is the ultimately the pilot's responsibility. If I remember correctly, I think they were seeking around 6 million dollars each. One was an attorney, the other a doctor, and the third was the Director of Indiana Drug Enforcement. I could of, but out of respect did not, ask "How much ?". I know this person knows.
