i was wondering if there is a light limit on aircraft in fsx because i am modding a carrier and i put in like 30 lights yet only 18 show up in fsx so some help plz, also if there is a limit can you hack it so there isnt one?

IIRC, 18 .fx files is the limit. Period. The sim simply isn't wired to display more than that simultanously.OTOH, I don't know if there is a limit for Attached .fx lights. I do know that the limit is enforced for those .fx listed in the aircraft.cfg file.
