Terrain SDK

Featured Replies

I'm having a problem with the install of the Terrain sdk for fs2000. I'm running Windows XP Home and after downloading I click the file I get a non Win32 application error. Any help or fixes to this? I'm trying to use the resample method for a local airport photo. Are there any other options/tools available other than M$ sdk? Thanks for any help!

Right click the resample.exe, select properties, select the compatibility tab, check the Run this program in Compatibility Mode for and select Win98.

Hi,Yes, I've tried that... still didn't work. Thanks for the input just the same. Guess I'll keep scouring for the answer(s). Think the ratio is running about 10:1, that is hours of looking for fixes as to flying LOL... oh well...DS

Hi again,BTW, as an after thought I haven't even got that far yet. I'm still trying to deburst the source download from M$. It's a program called "fs2000_terrain_sdk", I assume this is an .exe program. I know once you get a successful run it contains the the resample.exe program within. So if any one can help I'd love to know how. Thanks,DS

I tested it here (on WinXP) and it works fine. It the file 2.25 MB big, otherwise you download might be corrupt? Another option is to open the exe with WinZip, you can then also extract the files.Arno

That's amusing DS!!I was thinking you already had the SDK opened and were trying to get Resample.exe to work! You were just trying to get the SDK to open! I was never very good at those reading math problems, I always seemed to pick up on the "Red-wheels" and not the real problem!:-lol
