September 8, 200223 yr Commercial Member In general sceneries made with GMax give better framerates then sceneries made with the older tools. But adding a lot of detail will of course always reduce the fps. So it is normal that you get lower framerates when you add an addon scenery. You might want to check the readme file of the scenery, often it will have some comments on how to get optimal performance.ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done. September 9, 200223 yr Commercial Member What Christian points at is for the scenery designer, while he makes the scenery. From your post I think you use a downloaded scenery, so it isn't of much help to you.ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
