Airport-afd programming with bglc - tutorial?

Featured Replies

Hello,I am looking for a tutorial, which explains how to programm the aiport facility data like taxiways and gates with bgcl, for later use with automatic generated traffic. At at first sight the MS Taxiways SDK just describe, how to paint taxiways into the scenery.I would appreciate any hint!Edgar

I don't think there is a tutorial. Have you download AFCAD by Lee Swordy. His program, can extract an airport from the major *.bgls in the fs2002scenedbAFDFilesScenery folders, into a text file. The text file is more in the line of a SCASM compiler file vice BGLC.

Thanks William, for your quick reply! The AFCAD export delivers indeed almost the same content like BGL-Analyse and other decompilers. But I am not sure which way to go: SCASM or BGLC. Both do the same, but bglc and its include files might be a little bit more uptodate (but lacks any comprehensive documentation). To be honest, my true aim was to learn more about the correct calculation and use of points and parameters used in the bgl's.But there are some interesting actual threads here in the moment.Edgar
